Is the study of agents toxic to the biological systems and the organism’s biologic response to said toxins. 

The object is to drain, detoxify and stimulate healing through natural means.  This protocol is often combined with the patient’s own blood to stimulate a greater response.  The most important function of this protocol is that it allows the cells to drain the toxins and reestablishes communication between the cells.

Frequently, I will detox a horse after it has been sick and given antibiotics, following vaccines to deal with the side effects, or when an injury has occurred and the horse has been on NSAIDs for a long period of time.  Homotoxicology can be used to treat many forms of disease.
